Is a general lack of faith also causing a rise in suicides?
A recent study says the rate of suicides among young people ages ten to 17 increased nearly 30 percent during the month following the release of the suicide themed show, ’13 Reasons Why.’ But, according to the CDC, the suicide rate was already climbing. However, there’s also something else that’s climbing, the number of people who confess no religious affiliation. Could these be related? Dr. Alex Mcfarland and Christopher Hale discuss.
